On 25th August 2007, the Grassroots Organisations in Mountbatten, organized our very own mini National Day Parade in Tanjong Rhu Estate.
The turnout was better than expected, we have more than 1000 attendees sat in the gallery, and the corridors of the HDB flats encompassing the pavillion, in the heart of Tanjong Rhu's Estate, will filled with residents, having the best view.
The Guest of Honor for this event is Mr Lim Biow Chuan, Member of Parliament for Marine Parade GRC, and Adviser to Marine Parade GRC Grassroots Organisation.
The members of the participants were from members of Mountbatten's Grassroots Organisations, volunteer organisations and schools in the constituency.
