Katong Toastmasters Club has been holding meetings at Katong Community Centre since October 2007. We have plans to bring the experience of Toastmasters International (a self-help programme in the area of public speaking and leadership development) to the residents of Mountbatten Constituency and beyond.
Our home venue would be the Katong Community Centre at 51 Kampong Arang Road. We are, however, open to the idea of bringing our chapter meetings to the community. We would love to hold sample meetings in major condominiums in your neighbourhood.
Our next chapter meeting will be on 21 February 2008 (Thursday). It will> also be the first meeting in a series of five (over five consecutive weeks> for our first SpeechCraft programme.
We will also be organising a SpeechCraft programme over five consecutive Thursdays from 21 February 08.
Mission Statement:
